International Pop Underground Convention - V/A (1992)
In August of 1991, there was a sudden surge of musicians heading into Olympia, WA. Most of them were taking place in the International Pop Underground Convention which was spearheaded by K Records own, Calvin Johnson. This 2xLP compilation was an exciting find and very cheap (considering how much people will sell it on eBay for). All the tracks on the compilation were recorded live at the Capitol Theater, North Shore Surf Club and Capital Lake Park. Favorite tracks on this compilation are The Spinnanes and Courtney Love. It was before she was in HOLE. Trust me, it is good.
